Acceptable Use and Abuse Policy

You are responsible for your server configuration, uploaded content, invited players, and activity carried out through the service. Do not use Scrap Host to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, or harm the service or anyone else.

• Attacks, DDoS activity, malware, exploitation, scanning, unauthorised access, or bypassing authentication and resource controls.
• Pirated material, copyright infringement, or unauthorised distribution of the game, saves, mods, or other content.
• Child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, unlawful hate content, credible threats, stalking, doxxing, or unlawful disclosure of personal data.
• Mods, scripts, worlds, or settings intended to destabilise Scrap Host, Valve, other customers, networks, or third parties.
• Resale, sublicensing, or commercial subhosting unless we have agreed to it in writing.

Report suspected illegal or prohibited content to abuse@scraphost.com. Include the server or exact location, a clear explanation, supporting information, your contact details, and a good-faith statement that the report is accurate.

We acknowledge reports, assess them proportionately, and may ask for more information. Urgent threats may be restricted immediately. We may preserve evidence and cooperate with competent authorities where required.

Where legally permitted, we tell the affected customer what action we took and why. A customer or reporter may appeal by replying to the decision or contacting the abuse address. We review appeals with information not previously considered. Repeated or serious breaches can result in termination.
