Romero Britto and Students Paint Commemorative Artwork for the 11th Judicial Circuit’s CentennialOn February 13, 2010, at the Historical Museum of Southern Florida, famed artist Romero Britto and 24 art students from the Miami-Dade public schools painted 4 five foot canvasses commemorating the 100th anniversary of South Florida’s 11th Judicial Circuit. After the event, the paintings were taken to Mr. Britto’s studios where they will be completed. Once the paintings have all of Mr. Britto’s noted embellishments, they will be hung in the lobby of the Dade County Courthouse, where they will remain during the yearlong celebration.

The video shows how we created a frame behind the painting which measures 68″ by 46″ to run the LED strip around. The painting itself is 79″ by 55.25″. We used a 6 meter complete LED kit. This LED lighting can be used to accent any work of art in a similar fashion.
